Edges

Edges are the curves that bound faces and chain together into wires in OCCT. Working with them directly is how you get precise control over a model: selecting the exact edges to fillet, measuring along a curve, dividing one into evenly spaced points, or building a wire from edges you constructed individually. These pages cover the edge primitives - lines, arcs, circles and ellipses - and constructing edges from constraints. They also cover edge indexing, which is the practical key to fillets and chamfers, along with a way to visualise those indices so you can pick the right ones.
