Inputs & Outputs

Get geometry in and out of Bitbybit through OCCT's import and export formats. A configurator is only useful if the result leaves the browser in a form someone downstream can open: STEP for CAD, STL for 3D printing, DXF for laser cutting and CNC, GLTF for the web and for real-time viewers. These pages cover writing each format, the options that control tessellation quality and units, importing existing files back into a script, and the practical differences between exact boundary representation formats and the tessellated mesh formats used for rendering.
